Primal Defense does not colonize in your system, it passes through, thats why you have to keep taking it. However while it's in your system it attacks bad bacteria and eats yeasts. I have read a few posts that it actually shifts mucoid plaque, I'm assuming it gets at the bacteria there aswell.
