Re: Circumsituation

#29919 , I also had this debate at my house. My first son was adopted, and he had been cut. I wasn't there at the time to protect him.

My second son was not cut.
Its a shame that he is still considered the "odd one" in the locker room, but he does understand it was from love and good health care to not get his foreskin cut. [not that CCd kids are not loved!]

But I still stand by my decision. I have not yet gotten any big "thank you " from my second son for taking this courageous decision in thae face of the more common approach to whack the foreskin off.

I was circumsized. It was wayyyy to close of a cut, and the skin is stretched too tight when erect [no, I am not embarresed to say that, don't you either] and it is painfull. My second son is lucky he was even concieved due to this problem. Premature ejaculation has many reasons, but circumsision is one of them I believe - [I have not seen that point discussed much - have you?]

Also, when not erect, the head of the penis is more exposed than it should be, often causing arousal from rubbing in the clothing. Its inappropriate, not a virility boast.
This is rarely talked about in the Crcmsn debate either, but I am certain it is an issue that should be considered. Maybe circumcision was originally done for this reason, to propogate more offspring due to arousal, before the religious reasons [these ancient habits often had practical reasons first]. How would a teenager know if he was aroused by horemones or by physical chaffing? He will want relief either way...Its not right to torture our sons like this.

Karlin

PS - my first son [crcmsd] at the early age 21 ,has a child now already. I wonder if he was "overstimulated" , which led to pregnancy?
