Re: Circumsituation
Did you consider the fact that your 21 year old son had a child at his age because he did NOT use protection? If you are going to speculate on the reasons, might as well start with the obvious. If circumcision is a valid treatment for infertility then I am sure many uncircumcised men would gladly have the procedure done if it would increase their chances of having a child. Have you looked into this at all? Maybe it is I don't know, but chances are they did not use adequate protection.
Also you mention that men without foreskin are aroused more easily from clothing rubbing against them but knowing men with and without foreskin I can tell you that it depends on the man. I do not believe there is any real evidence that circumcision causes premature ejaculation. In fact much of the information I have read claims the opposite. That circumcised men take longer to achieve orgasm because they are less sensitive. Whether that is a pro or con also depends on the man.I believe one of the reasons circumcision was necessary in the past was for hygiene reasons but in this day and age men are able to clean themselves properly and should be taught to do so, so that should not be the main reason for choosing circumcision. Since an erection occurs normal in men for a variety of reasons I would not personally call them inappropriate. That is a moral judgment. Don't you think? My husband has no problem with his clothes arousing him anyway.
I do not have a preference either way but I just think people should make an informed decision when it comes to circumcision, and should not make their choices based on fear or guilt. A circumcision can be performed safely and without trauma today and parents also have a right to know that the person performing the procedure is competent to do it. This is important since many still do it for religious purposes.
