Re: Did macro-evolution happen?

"I would argue that animals do have these emotions AND cognitive thought. Now, whether or not it is ALL species, I cannot say, however I have seen these emotions in horses, my dog and cat, and swear I have observed cognitive thought as well."

This may well be true. Obviously animals were given some type of ability to reason. They may have even been given some slight emotional traits...but I think it's on an entirely different scale.

I don't think any animal walks around with guilt for stealing something. No animal has a concept of God or faith. No animal is able to reason like humans can. Animals think selfishly....they respond to what feels good or is beneficial to them. Humans, on the otherhand, are created differently. For most of us it feels better to GIVE than it does to receive. This goes totally against Darwin's 'survival of the fittest' concept. And we are the ONLY creature on the earth that is like this. S
