You're supposed to work you way up with the Primal Defense til you get to between 6 and 12 a day, depending on what you need. Then you stay at that high level for three months and wean yourself down to 3 or so. I'm sticking with 6. I don't know how much of the HSOs actually make it to my gut so I'm staying at 6 cause it can't hurt.
