I went through all of this too. "AAAHHHH! I want them all! If they're all so good for you you should be able to survive on just the supplements, right?"
I so far am on Primal Defense, Perfect Food, Cod Liver Oil, Coconut oil, and Goatein IG.
Every supplement I've added has added wonderfully to my health. I can tell which supplements I've missed by how I feel.
I would say that the diet is THE most important thing.
***Check out Weston Price's website. It's got a plethora of research and diet info. Jordan Rubin based a lot of the MD principles on Weston Price's research, and seeing it for myself cleared up a lot of the 'whys' of the MD, plus it has so much more!***
If you choose any supp though, I so far would say that Primal Defense is a cornerstone of this program. i don't even want to go down from the detox level of 6 I've been at because it makes me feel so good. And that Cod Liver oil is such a miracle food why wouldn't you want to take it?
Perfect food leveled out my boyfriend's and my own hypoglycemia. It gives us energy and helps keep us cleaned out. Plus my boyfriend isn't a veggie eater so this helps him get his 5-10.
Goatein IG is wonderful for immune support. I didn't get sick even when my best friends, everyone at work and my boyfriend were all miserable. This is AMAZING for me because usually I catch something right away and have it for a few weeks. It's also wonderful for healing quickly. Both of us have noticed our muscles responding to exercise like never before.
