You have such an abilty to make one smile, no - laugh heartily.

I think in pictures, so I see you dragging the cement all disheveled and crazed. How very comical... And Van Gogh's ear! LOL.

I suppose it is like that for all of us artists at heart. Once the creative door is open the ideas start pouring and don't stop.

I started a company for my concrete art, and of course the only way to begin is to start on your own projects, I would do the same: work for days on end and then weeks on end and change this and try that and not even cook. In the end with kids in college and cost of living so high, it has been impossible to leave my office job to dedicate my time to the creative dream.

However, having worked on marketing I can tell you that the internet is an excellent venue for you, and perhaps booking a couple of events through the year. Kind of like the designers have their collections out two times a year or so. This will give you time in between to get your pieces ready, and get postcard pictures ready to advertise your event or use as invitations.

Depending on the area you are, there are bound to be events to showcase your pieces and obtain contacts and commission work.

For example, I booked a home show (I create cement art on floors, cast concrete counters etc.) and I met a magazine editor who specializes in high end homes who thought my applications were a pefect fit for her readers. I was also considering booking the garden show in Manhattan, since cement art is a perfect fit for customizing terraces and private gardens.

Having seen some of your pieces, I would also approach a couple of designers or stylists and see if you could work out a deal (like the jewelers do) to "lend out" some of your pieces to gain exposure. Many have gained notoriety by sending a piece to someone who is photographed a lot, or "trendsetter".

Just some ideas... Maybe too much input? (Sorry ...see? there's that open door again!:)
