Re: Would anyone ever want to hurt Jesus?

---What logic can justify this line of thinking?---

There is no logic in many Islamic beliefs as well, such as justifying the use of SAND for CLEANSING when there's no water available! If you say the idea of sacrifice is illogical, then be prepared to use logic against your own beliefs as well.

---God is not in need of any blood sacrifice.---

The Bible says "without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins" (Hebrews 9:22). Here are more scriptures about blood sacrifice:

Matthew 26:28 (Jesus speaking)
This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Romans 3:25
God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished

Romans 5:9
Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!

Colossians 1:14
in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Hebrews 9:7
But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.

1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[ 1:7 Or every] sin.

--- We are not forgiven anyways, otherwise it would be the end of the world right AFTER the blood sacrifice would have taken place.--

Says who?

---God does not change---
Excellent point. If the Qur'an says the Bible is from God, and the God of the Bible is not the same as Allah, then either God has changed or the Qur'an is corrupt.

---and if it were so important to believe this sacrifice then all of the propehts previous would be talking about it---

All the Biblical prophets did talk about it when they talked about salvation.

---Jesus himself called himself son of man.--
He is both God and Man, so he is the son of both:

Colossians 2:9 "For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form".

Hebrews 1
"1In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. 3The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven."

--- We dont not have the original bible, or books, they have gone through many ages of scribes and copiers, and additions have been forged, and governments have meddled with the bible to the point where it is now sadly not a 100% true.---

I have posted repeatedly the VAST amount of PROOF that exists in support of the faithful and 100% accurate transmission of the Bible throughout the ages. This tired old accusation has been thoroughly debunked. I have also posted the many changes in the Qur'an today compared to when Muhammad was alive. After his death one version was arbitrarily chosen and all others were burned.

---Also there are Jesus's words that clearly state, you have neither seen HIS form or heard HIS voice at any time. ---

Jesus said, "He that has seen me has seen the Father." (John 14:9)

---The Muslim view is that the Almighty God raised Jesus up to the heavens and someone else was nailed to the cross.---

You blindly swallow this belief without question, but let the Bible say something and you want it put under a microscope! The fact is, there is much very convincing circumstanial evidence that JESUS hung on the cross, and the Old Testament predicted this.
