Re: Would anyone ever want to hurt Jesus?

It used to freak me out a tad at church, that big wooden cross at the back of the alter, and the big carved man nailed to it. And the prayers to the statue of Mary who stood on a big fat snake? and all of the big plaques on the wall depicting the scenes of pontious pilate ordering jesus to be whipped, and finally put on the cross and left to die like the worst criminal.
Then they said take this the blood ( wine, from the same cup everyone puts their mouth on) and the body ( alittle white wafer that gets placed on your tongue, every tongue like little birds lining up for thier mother until all the congregation has completed this of christ. ( so we are to think we are now eating christ) then when anyone has a sin they have to start out by saying, forgive me father for i have sinned, adn the priest then says, pray two hail marys ( to mail the mother of God? now thats a monotheistic religion?) and two are fathers. Ok and now the preist has just assume the role of God. Then you go home and try to somehow figure out what all that really meant.
hmmmmmmm I think this is what I figured out at a young age that any Catholic can do: ( may God forgive me for what I am about to write)

Killing is ok-and ok to see someone dripping in blood
killed for your sins-ok I can do whatever I want !
Mary you can pray to her too! maore chances your covered!
Priest, you can ask him to forgive you too! Your fine!
Images are fine now ( ten commandments )
Praying to more than one god is ok now ( Ten Commandments)
Its ok to hurt a holy prophet, murder him, and not ask any questions.
It shows a God that is able to murder His own creation ( un Godly, against the Ten Commandments)
No worries, just Beleive ( you dont have to do a thing) and your sailing in the Garden of Eden real soon! You can murder, cheat, steal, lie, rape, drink, sleep with whom you want, but go to church eat the wafer,drink the blood and you'll be all right! Right on mate!
