Re: Why I am drawn to the debate forums...

Very interesting Eileen. We never know whom our words may impact, and that more unbelievers visit the debate than support I think is probably a correct assumption (though I have seen evidence that quite a few visit here as well! :).
It does not seem like those who constantly debate our faith are touched at all by what is said, that it in fact makes them more staunch in their opinion, but hopefully some good comes of viewers we do not see and may never know till later. :)
However, I would like to very much encourage that wonderful articles, topic discussions and such be placed in both places so that those, that are perhaps like me, who wish to avoid being attacked but would like to discuss those articles and topics in a safer haven of like faith. What think you all, does this sound like a very good idea? I for one would like to see AvgJoe post here a lot more, I have enjoyed reading quite a few of his posts!
I used to avoid the debate forum altogether, but like Alikat mentioned there are a lot of good things posted there too so I've found myself lately browsing the top topics some. Just so much of the posts below are so negative I cannot read them because they just affect my mood too much...perhaps I am too easily affected, but I like to be positive as much as possible.
