Re: Decisions on root canal treatment
...Following on from message from Ohfor07:
Well, today I took the risk of having the first part of my 3rd
root canal treatment after intnese pain for days. The dentist said the tooth had been 'dead' for some time. I am full of neurofen to help the pain and feeling bruised and swollen. I have no idea if my biocalex fillings are going to be OK but the experience of removing my teeth at present is too difficult to contemplate. They would leave such a big gap! Maybe I will wait 2 years and see how my health is doing. I am with a holisitic dentist so I will have access to checks to see how I am coping with the roots. I will post news of any findings of root toxicity or ill health that is related to my personal health. I hate 'experimenting' with myself like this but if you read 'The Roots of Disease', you will also find out that extraction sites can be unhealthy places too. I pray for the maintainance of good health and a strong immune system. I send my very best wishes to everyone who is struggling with
root canal decisions. It is so tough being human and the
root canal experience is helping me to appreciate how lucky we are to have each day and that we don't live forever anyway! At least I have enough information now to be able to check my health in relationship to root canal scares. I try not to be extreme unless I know it is absolutley necessary: My system may cope with my root treatments well. Does anyone know of any research in the UK or abroad that people can be part of to help get even more information about root canals, immunity and the development of disease? Does anybody want to start some more research?......
