This is only partly true that teeth will be moving.
If you remove a tooth from a child or a young person who's jaw and who's teeth are still growing and developing, then you can expect that surrounding teeth slightly move closer to the place where the extracted tooth was. The result is usually a wider space between surrounding teeth.
On the other hand, when a tooth is removed from someone who is 25,30 or older (all teeth are already out), surrounding teeth will not move very much. In other words, the hole will stay the same until death. Yes, some micro motion of teeth is still possible, but we are talking about microns, not about millimeters.
And, bare in mind that every person is different, some people more different then the others.
Some people who's jaw is more flexible may experience more problems ... other may not.
