Iron for anemia

Blackstrap molasses is very high in iron. Be sure to get organic! You can take two or three tablespoons a day.

Also, certain herbs are very high in iron. Dandelion root, burdock, and yellow dock. I found a health food store that sells these in bulk or you could buy them online. You can make a tea of these together or separately and drink it a couple times a day.

Vitamin C helps your body absorb the iron too, so anytime you have iron rich foods like the above or leafy greens like spinach, have something high in vitamin c with it. I use a squeeze of lemon or lime.

I've also read using castor oil packs can help shrink fibroids. You can get more info about making a castor oil pack in the castor oil forum.

Good luck!
