How did you know the fibroid was degenerating? Do you still have period?
In my case, I have had massive fibroids for over 7 years. I almost 53, still menstruating. Other than back pain, bloating and distention, I have no excess bleeding and abdonminal pain but a lot of discomfort. My fibroids occupy my whold abdomen and come up above my navel. They are so huge that I look like a 7-8 month pregnant woman.
I had been a vegetarian for 14 years until I came down with panic attacks and Depression last year(I was sent to mental hospital for it). Then I started eating canned tuna this year and shrimps and regular fish a few months ago. My mental problem got better without any medication but my fibroids are still growing. I hike as much as I could and tried to cut down carbohydrate and sugar.
I tried fasting 14 years ago and I found it detrimental. Unless I am diagnosed with ternminal cancer I will not try fasting again.
I am just hoping when I am officially menopausal my fibroids will stop growing.
