The ANCA test was positive for vasculitis, and the doctors didn't want to pursue it much beyond getting the kidney biopsy read by "better doctors" etc. etc. There was no point in doing that, because I wasn't about to go on prednisone or cytotoxins to knock out my immune system. I'm recovering just fine without them! :)
