BUN and Creatinine are lab test results, just like cholesterol, red blood cell count, things like that. A good physical workup should include these two. The lab people usually call the panel a basic metabolic function panel.

In cases of HBP you have to monitor the kidneys regularly as HBP is one of the main causes of kidney damage, and impaired kidneys can lead to HBP. Tweet
