There is a common reaction when something tremendously horrible or even unexplainable happens. Your psyche builds up a real strong wall so that you dont have to deal with all the emotions at once and also because maybe you simply COULDNT deal with it at that point. Unfortunately that wall will eventually start to crumble and bits and pieces of the memories and the feelings will get through to you and you will feel the full impact of your emotions over and over again. there is maybe something you can do. If you start taking that wall down yourself you will engage in a painful process but this process will keep you from being the victim of horrible flashbacks, nightmares, confused feelings etc. I know this from experience...when you face that wall you will feel better eventually. Get a counselor, therapist or a good friend and talk to them. And talk and talk and talk and try to feel the emotions you are experiencing. Maybe a therapist is best eventually because you might be flooded by all the emotions that come your way. And give yourself a lot of time. Be loving to yourself because you never deserved this and there must be a lot of grief and anger in yourself that needs working out. But no matter how you look at it.... this was a terrible crime that was done to you and you havent done anything to justify this. The people who have done this belong into prison. You are a good person and you are entitled to all the help you can get....I wish you good luck!!
