Re: Restless Leg Syndrome

Hi
I never went to the doctor about it. I didn't have a name for it until I saw something on TV about. It's a feeling in your legs like you want to jump out of bed (I usually got it in bed) and walk or run. It's like an electric current running up and down your legs.

The more I think about it, I'm pretty sure it was cold medications (and the like) that caused it. I remember getting it really bad on vacation after my sister in law gave me a.. (oh I can't remember the name of the pill) to help me sleep. It was an over the counter cold / sleep aid. I haven't had it in years since I stopped taking cold meds. I think it's neurological though. They used to perscribe the same drug for RLS that they perscribed for parkinsons I think.

I was amazed to see it advertised on TV because I had never heard of anyone else having it. Now it's main stream? Maybe a lot of people are taking over the counter cold / pain and sleep aids. Ya think?

I made a comment at work about the dry eye "Ristasis?" drug. Our receptionist has dry eye syndrome. Who'd a thunk? I'd never heard of it either.

Yes they are pulling our legs and our eye balls and our butts and our genitals and any other body part just to get into our pocket books.

Bastards!!!
