Re: the skin is the largest organ of the body...

You got the right idea about religion, it's very partisan and artificial devotion. What I mean by partisan is that it's very bureaucratic and overloaded with protocol, ritual and pretense. Many unbelievers are more 'real' and truly love and respect their fellow human being because they understand 'sentiment' and live according to their conscience. Belonging to a religion is like being a Boy Scout, institutional. Of course, it depends on each person's sense of devotion whether they have a true love and respect for their fellow human being that determines how Godly and sincere they will be, so you'll notice that a lot of truly good people that are involved in religions are bothered and confused by all of those RULES and incompassionate talk about the 'demerits' of sin (SIN as opposed to EVIL, evil doesn't have to be anything catastrophic or disastrous, evil is anything that prevents GOOD from happening). Whenever someone is nasty to someone else and neglects to show the other person the respect a human being deserves (not EARNED respect like an egotistical snob would get, the respect a stranger would get), it causes evil because it prevents the other person from being happy, but it also causes that person to have reckless and resentful attitudes towards other people (bad mood). It says in the bible that the "DEPTHS of God" (1 Corinthians 2:10) are meant for those who can DISTINGUISH good from evil (Hebrews 5:14) instead of classify sin. I have been suicidally depressed all my life and learned to feel SENTIMENT because I understand pain, suffering, sorrow, disappointment and heartbreak. I think that some people have are more prone to understand the DEPTHS of God because they have had bad experiences that taught them to truly FEEL in their heart. Adam and Eve ate of the tree of CONSCIENCE, but many, many Christians don't realize this because it is written as "the tree of the knowledge of good and evil" (DUH!). It seems like common sense is lost by their 'SATISFACTION' of simply reading the bible, instead of actually understanding it, huh?. The bible is simply "the word of truth" (Ephesians 1:13 and 2 Timothy 2:15) and what God SAID in times past, not what He says (present tense), but the word of God is what His living character (Holy Spirit) says to us in our hearts (Ephesians 6:17). So your disgust for 'RELIGIONS' is actually very Godly because it shows that religions cannot satisfy your heart. Objectively looked at, the world is a very inhospitable place, and there is enough reason in it for us to experience so much disappointment and be 'low in spirit', which is why God's Son said "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN" (Matthew 5:8). There are two requirements in the bible for anyone who wants to know the Creator:
Hebrews 11:6 "...For whoever would draw near to God must believe
1) that He exists and
2) that He rewards those who seek Him".

The Creator knows that, since only He is perfect (and we aren't), so He sent His Son to purify us so that we can return to Him.

If you ever decide to know more about the Creator, the bible is the word of truth and can show you how to listen to His word, because His word cannot be read, only listened to (Ephesians 6:17).

This understanding is what helped me a lot, let it do the same for you.

God bless you.
