Re: A combination to consider...
First of all, I want to say "thank you" for your testimony and genuine concern. My main problem is with my lips. For about 5 years, my lips got dry, cracked, peeled(skin turning white when in contact with water). However, over the past year, I've been doing liver flush, colon cleansing and kidney cleansing, along with changing my diet and my lips improved about 80%. The reason why I say 80% is because although my lips got alot better(better meaning less dry, less cracking, major decrease in peeling cycle), if I dont apply anything, in about 5+ hours, they will get dry and the cycle will start. It used to be the case that if I didnt apply anything, my lips would get dry within 1 hr. So, I think
Liver Flush is the key in curing my lips(maybe it will be cured in the next couple flushes).
However, you grabbed my attention with the necessity of these minerals and it makes sense. What I'm saying is, it definitely sounds reasonable, especially because our body doesnt produce these minerals. So, I went to whole foods the other day and grabbed couple of items and I wanted to run them by you if you dont mind. I know you recommended 3500mg of potassium but all the brands carry only 100mg(per tablet). It doesnt sound reasonable to me that i should take 35 of the tablets.
This is what I picked up:
1. Zinc Picolinate 22mg per tablet(includes calcium - as dicalcium phosphate)
2. Potassium(as potassium choloride) 99mg per tablet
3. I also got something called LIQUMINS (CAL/MAG/ZINC). It saids fast-absorbing liquid formula.
ingredients:
total carbohydrates = 9g
vitamin D3(cholecalciferol) = 400IU
calcium(tri-calcium phosphate, citrate, gluconate) = 1200mg
magnesium(hydroxide, carbonate, concentrace) = 600mg
phosphorus(tri-calcium phosphate) 600mg
zinc (citrate) = 15mg
concenTrace (ionic trace minerals total) 438mg
chloride = 102mg
sulfate = 8mg
sodium = 86mg
potassium = 74mcg
boron = 140mcg
then under ingredients it also saids:
purified water, natural vegetale glycerine, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, vitamin D3, natural Pina Colacia Flavor, Ionic Trace Minearls,
citric acid , Xanthan Gum, Carageenan Gum, SOdium Benzoate
So...... Did I get the right "stuff"??? I know you mentioned salt substitute for the potassium, except they didnt have it at the whole foods i went to. I'm assuming thats the only way Im gonna get 3500mg of potassium. So, if I didnt get the right stuff, what do I need to change.
Many many thanks!
