Re: thanks for the advice

I have read from some that gigantic amounts of exercise can lead to a constant state of high lactic acid and acidosis. I tend to not believe this, especially considering the breath factor and how strong your lungs must be even when you are not running..

but a product that has helped me reduce acidity tremendoulsy is called "bicarbolife" by dr. sang whang, from http://www.alkalife.com. I take two capsules with breakfast which has been very helpful. The last time I got bloodwork everything was in the normal to low range which was great as my cholesterol has been a little high a few times down the road. It releases potassium and sodium bicarbonate into the blood through the intestines which is great as the stomach acid has no effect on it. Of course, I would imagine you might have to be careful about potassium with the heart condition? I'm not sure, just know that sodium and potassium bicarbonate are naturally produced to buffer acidity but decrease with age, and some believe this is actually one of the things which *causes* aging.

I thought this might help. :)

Peace Light,

Brian
