Re: Electric Shock Help!!

Thanks for replying

The pain feels like a sharp quick electric current that comes when i least expect it. Throughout the day it can happen 5,6 or 7times. At it's worst, right before i lost hope and got a root canal, to alleviate the problem, it was at every 1-2 minutes.

I have 2 root canal teeth on my upper right side. The so called 'canine tooth' and the large molar directly behind it. The molar was where i thought the problem originated, (because i've got several fillings in it), The pain started after my most recent filling in the molar(last May). 1-week after the pain, my dentist had no clue why i would get these shocks, except that maybe sometimes teeth respond adversely to deep fillings. And that the molar might need to be root canaled. So after the pain worsened, (every 1-2minutes), I gave in and had the root canal.

The pain went away, for about 2weeks. So i had this molar, and the canine tooth in front of it (both weakened, and needing crowns).

Now the canine tooth(don't know proper name), was crowned last week. The molar is supposedly sealed, but not crowned. Neither tooth has it nerve remaining, yet i get this battery charge type pulse(painful) several times throughout the day.

I'm upset because i thought by getting the large molar root canaled, the problem tooth was resolved. But the shocks have returned after 1-2 weeks of comfort.

Is this possible for a tooth without a nerve to act this way?

Now there is a tooth below these two, it is the one with the worn(shiny silver) mercury filling.
Could it be conducting the two root canaled teeth above it? Both upper teeth are root canaled, but only 1 is crowned.

All along i wondered if putting three fillings in a large molar and having the molar tooth below (shiny silver filled) be attracting each other.

As mentioned, the shocks went away after the upper molar root canal, for 1-2 weeks.
I'm at a loss.
