after reading your posts as well as this information:

I will surely give it a try. Please let me know what you recommend as the highest quality coconut oil I can purchase, meaning brand name, web sites, etc. I'm actually having the beginning of an outbreak right now and will gladly give it a try. I actually tried a bit of DMSO this round and it proved ineffective and also HURT! Yes, I know what it is, but found some good people of high quality and decided to give it a go..

also, can I apply the oil directly to sores as well as ingesting with liquid? (drinking is the proper use right?)
