Her Doctor finally asked her to stop milk and other LACTOSE in her diet. That was something I can agree with!
Milk should be the first to be stopped with almost any digestion/gastro related problem.

Didn't help, in fact it got worse this week, the first week of quitting milk. More liquidy, more explosive, no warning at all. Sorry if its graphic...

I doubt it is the lactose, but if it was, could this be a healing crisis? From stopping lactose, then a final spurt for another week or so as things normalise? That doesn't sound right but I thought I should ask...

Other than lactose, I am surpirsed to hear of your diarrhea being chronic, I just didn't know. Sorry for your hardship, now that I see what mom is going thru with cleaning up and social embarasements etc.
