This is not good advice for anyone who is diabetic or pre-diabetic. Fruits raise your blood sugar, no matter what kind of fructose it is. As a diabetic, I cannot eat apples or grapes anymore; they taste WAY too sweet to me. And they hurt my stomach if its empty. Oranges raise my blood Sugar dangerously. So do bananas.
