4 days so far - Elderly Mom needs suggestions

my Mom isn't an alernative medicine person at all, but she may be ready to listen to me if this keeps up!!

She is over 80 now, and has PD [Parkinsons]. This diarrhea started about a week ago, and it hit her 4 times now. It comes onSuddenly, and explosive she says. Almost accident, definately a big urgency, "get outta my way".

I can't stand it. Many of you know this feeling - Mom is having trouble and I gotta help her. I don't do well with this stuff!! I over-react. Ok, settle down. good.

I think there is a Red Clay , it may be in Kaopectate, an OTC anti-diarrhea. I have not found it referanced yet.

I found this definition and these herbs suggested:
"Antidiarrhea": An alterative*. Examples are: *Blackberry, comfrey, gentian, *red raspberry, and yellow dock, black pepper, and ginger.


But precious little else so far. This must be a common thing....
