A vegetable garden!

I'm also a Canadian, and somewhat 'senior' (only on the outside).

That gardening love your mother has could be a big help to her. The hook is, of course, the bending required.

Is there any help available to her? A couple of neighbour kids would be a great boon, and they could develop a lifetime appreciation of gardening, too. The neat part of a vegetable garden is that it rewards everyone with produce. Neighbours love that.

Isn't it a fine experience to have a family member ask for your expertise?!
