hopinso...

Thanks for your continued thoughts and support, hopinso. This has just really
puzzled us since she was so active...and this just really did change 'overnight',
back in June of last summer.

You've probably read on curezone where I've posted about my dad. He just turned
82 last Thursday...he's a baptist preacher, still preaching 3 times a week...still
does weddings and funerals and visits on the side. To look at him, you'd think
he wasn't a day over 70. His mind is sharp as a tack. He's driving 'himself' to
Baltimore in April to see a couple of our cousins...and he's driving alone in May
to Orlando...to visit 2 more of our cousins. They are both 12 to 15 hour trips from
here. We always offer to take him on these trips...but he just says, "Well, I don't
need anyone to DRIVE me...I'm not an invalid!" :-) But he also walks 2 miles a day...and rides a stationary bicycle...and has for decades. Doesn't eat healthy
though...it's bacon and eggs for breakfast...and it goes downhill during the day
from there. :-)

Your 90 year old church member sounds like a wonderful person. We have a couple
in our little country church...but they're 'only' in their mid 80's...they're even
there on Sunday and Wednesday nights...in fact, we pick one of them up...because
her kids took her car away. But that needed to be done...she is beginning to fail
in health, especially mentally...she calls me 2 or 3 times a week to see if this
is 'church day'. :-)

Thanks again. kathryn
