No worries

Hi Mike! Congratulations on a good start!

First off, you can definitely meet all your needs without dairy products. Did you know that dairy products actually pull more calcium out of your bones than they contribute? The excess proteins and mineral imbalance cause this reaction. The calcium in vegetables and things such as almonds and molasses are more easily absorbed; that is, you get a higher percentage of the calcium in your bones (and you didn't pull any out). The less animal protein you eat, the less calcium you are subtracting from your body, as well. (this reduces your overall calcium requirements).

I would recommend that you avoid all dairy products (including milk, cheese, yogurt and cream) except butter. This is because butter does not contain the milk proteins and sugars that can trigger Acne and other problems.

I would add another note that many people here at curezone feel that raw dairy is beneficial; such things as raw milk and raw kefirs and yogurts are used by success, if it agrees with their body. Also, fermented dairy such as kefir and yogurt have many beneficial things, but this is also on a person-to-person basis. I would recommend you forego all dairy for a time while you are working on your Acne and colon (dairy is very mucus forming) and later you can consider adding back some dairy as I mentioned above, if you feel it is useful for you.

But don't worry! Your bones won't crumble! The hype about calcium, osteoporosis, and dairy products is because of the dairy industry (who want to promote their products) and well meaning but misinformed dieticians. There are many aspects to healthy bones and calcium is only one of them! There is also vitamin D (sunshine), weight-bearing exercise (weights, jogging), and other minerals including magnesium and potassium which are needed to absorb the calcium. So eat your green veggies everyday!
