Re: calcium in dairy

Sometimes my stools are just a bunch of hard little balls. Someone else told me this means low stomach acids, and sure enough, when I started supplementing hydrochloric acid, my stools were normal (and I had no more constipation). Sometimes I do produce enough stomach acids on my own (I don't take the pills anymore), but only if I'm really careful about not eating too much, not eating too frequently, not eating junk, and get lots of minerals. And I can't eat very much meat at all.

Also, undigested food in the stool (except things that don't digest much, like whole flax seeds, sesame seeds) indicates low stomach acids.
