calcium in dairy

Hi,

I was just wondering what your view is on how absorbable calcium in dairy products is. Some say that it is not very absorbable at all because

a) the calcium in milk in inorganic
b) milk is fairly high in protein, and protein takes calcium out of the body

The only dairy I consume is organic, non-homogenized kefir from whole cow's milk. (It is made from pasteurized milk, though.) I drink it alone, without other food. Do you think that this is a good source of calcium?

I also supplement with calcium/magnesium sometimes, but I don't want to rely completely on supplements.

Thank you!
