I take NOW brand niacinamide 500mg also NOW brand 5HTP, and melatonin, they dont have as many fillers as the other brands and since I take them every night and sometimes take a lot I dont want these extra poisins.

If I wake up in the middle of the night and feel like I need to get sleepy again I take more niacinamide, If I feel more awake I take one more melatonin (3mg), magnesium (250mg) and niacinamide (500mg). Now if I feel WIDE awake I take all of that plus another 5HTP. I've been working on these dosages for three years and this is the best way for me to get some sleep but and not wake up feeling drugged, hungover or drowsy. HTH
