Death nothing to fear...

Christians should not be afraid of death...for those of us who believe - it is the door to the presence of God. After my mother suffered her stroke, the thought never occurred to any of our family that we should allow her to literally "starve to death" when her nutrition could be supplied by a feeding tube. I don't see this as any different than hooking someone up to intraveneous fluids when they are needed to survive. Some people require a tube to be inserted for air to be received into their lungs for day to day survival, while others require a tube for weekly dialysis treatments, without which, they would die. Where does one draw the line? I agree, that if you make the choice to draw it for yourself, then so be it! But...the courts should not make that decision for anyone!
