Re: thousands of Sudanese people were burned alive last fall

Choices like this are very personal. I would rather die from starvation due to complications of a stroke, than live in a nursing home for three years before I died from an infection. Some people feel compelled to hang on to life as long as possible. They think Terri would want to kept alive with a feeding tube. Other people think quality of life is more important, they think Terri would want to be allowed to die. We all have the right to die when we want to. I think if Terri's parents would have taken her to their home and cared for her there, there wouldn't be this problem. Better yet, if there were a living will involved, we all would know what Terri wanted and none of this would be happening. This situation has compelled me to make arrangments.
