Dear All, this debate is hotting up!Just thought I'd add that in studies of glucosamine users cell samples from their joints showed that the degenerative joints were in fact healing (1980 Drovanti, A. et al. Clinical Therapeutics). Some also say that a few individuals do suffer with digestive upset but this is free of other side effects. So it could be that the glucosamine doesn't agree with you. It is always best to take certain supplements with food or they can cause nausea.Glucosamine is meant to be very safe 500 mg twice daily as a preventative and those with serious problems have even taken 3000 mg or more!
Thanks Happy dog for your info on PCA-Rx, I have decided to try it anyway I will let you know how I get on.I saw the japanese foot pads but decided to give them a miss - I couldn't work out how they would take mercury out of my brain which is where it must be since my central nervous system seems to be affected.
I also know that it is not good to try too many therapies at once as the bodies healing pathways can get confused.
Best wishes to all, toxic chick.
