Some suggestions for healing your
body of Psoriasis.
Dear Soon-Will-Be-Pretty-Again,
As you know,
Psoriasis is a condition in which
the skin cells replicate themselves about
1,000 times faster than normal. Since there
are too many cells for your skin to shed
normally, the extra cells accumulate in a
silvery scale on the surface of your skin.
Most of the alternative health doctors whom I
trust, say that
Psoriasis is caused by one or
more of the following conditions:
1) Incomplete protein digestion
2) Bowel toxicity
3) Impaired liver function
4) Too much animal fat
5) Alcohol
6) Stress
You say you feel "lost" by the multitude of
advice you're been given, so I will keep this
as simple as possible. Here's what I suggest
you do:
1) Become a vegetarian ASAP. If that seems
daunting, then try it for 90 days. You can
do anything for 3 months. I'll bet good money
that at the end of those 3 months, your
skin problems will be significantly diminished. Banish meat, fish, and most dairy
products from your diet. I'll allow you an
organic yogurt (Stonyfield Farms), but the
cheese and milk and ice cream must go.
You also want to stop eating any food with
gluten in it. Substitute brown rice. So
that means goodbye to most breads and pastries.
I suggest you eat as much living food as you
can. If possible, buy organic fruits and
veggies. This will add needed fiber to your
diet. Most people who suffer from psoriasis
eat processed foods that are totally lacking
in fiber.
I've been a vegetarian for almost 29 years,
and I'm in radiant health at 65. Please
don't consider a vegetarian lifestyle to be
a penance or a curse. On the contrary, a diet
of living foods is a great blessing. Once
you've been eating clean, living food for
3 months, you will never, ever want to go
back to the SAD diet. Trust me on that.
2) You need to do some intestinal cleanses.
Your intestines, liver, and kidneys are
undoubtedly full of toxic gunk, that is the
main cause of your psoriasis. Once you flush
out toxic debris -- and don't replace it
with more meat and processed foods (dead foods), --your skin will begin to heal itself.
Your liver filters all the blood in your body
every 5 minutes. 240 times a day, all the blood in your body goes through the filtering
systems of your liver. If your liver is
clogged with stones -- and most American's
DO have clogged livers -- then breakdowns
are inevitable. CureZone is an excellent
place to learn about intestinal cleanses.
I suggest those which are recommended by
Andreas Moritz. Buy a copy of his insightful
book, The Amazing Liver & Gallbladder Flush
at:
http://www.ener-chi.com
His cleanses are easy to do, and quite
inexpensive.
So those are my two main recommendations:
a vegetarian eating-regimen, and intestinal
cleanses. If you feel a "tingle" as you read
those suggestions, it's your intuition
telling you, "Yes, let's do it!"
Things to Avoid:
1) Booze
2) Aspirin and NSAIDs. All three of these
do damage to the liver.
Things to Include:
1) Drink LOTS of pure water; preferably
home-distlled water. All by itself, water
will flush out many bodily toxins. You should
be drinking a minimum of 2 to 3
quarts of
water each day.
2) Milk Thistle -- an herb with silymarin
that will help heal your liver.
3) Onions, garlic, licorice, cayenne, and --
if you can find it or make it -- rhubarb
juice. The latter relieves the itching and
pain of psoriasis.
4) Flaxseed -- Your body lacks the omega-3
fatty acids that are found in golden flaxseed.
The best way to eat flaxseed, is to buy
the organic golden seeds, and grind them in
a mini-grinder. Then add the ground seeds to
juice. Another option is to buy a bottle of
Barlean's or Omega Flaxseed oil in the refrigerated section of your health food store. Take a tablespoon each day. All by
itself, the flaxseed will make an enormous
improvement in your health. It inhibits the
inflammatory compounds that cause psoriasis.
5) A good multiple vitamin and plenty of vitamin E.
6) Get outside in the sunshine every day.
Sunshine is extremely beneficial for reducing psoriasis.
7) If possible, add some powdered green
superfood to your diet. There are lots of
good ones. Your body needs those green
nutrients.
8) Say some positive affirmations every day,
even if only for a few minutes. One of them
should sound something like this: "My skin
is using the wonderful nutrients I give it,
to heal itself of psoriasis. My skin cells
are now replicating themselves normally.
Each day, the silvery scales of psoriasis
are less visible. Soon, my skin will be
completely healed. Thank you, my sweet skin!
I love you!"
That's not written in stone, but something
like that will be a big help to the healing
process. For more information about the power
of affirmations, go to my website/
archive here at CZ. I'll list the address
at the end of this post.
Please don't feel daunted! There are at least
2 billion vegetarians in the world. It's not
a difficult way to live. And tens of millions
of people, do the kind of simple intestinal
cleanses that I suggested. If anything I said
resonated with you, try it for 90 days.
Then report back to us on what did or didn't
happen, okay?
You were pretty when you were 12. And you'll
be pretty when you're 26. Don't doubt that
for a moment. Make a strong INTENTION that
you're going to heal yourself of this nasty
skin disease, and then give the healing
protocols all your ATTENTION.
I will keep you in my prayers.
Blessings,
Owen
