Re: Urine is Sterile
Hi Cancun,
Yes, i agree with you that in order to improve
Psoriasis the problem of toxicity needs to be addressed. But urine actually helps to detoxify and heal the body - its components mean that it is far more than just a sterile fluid like alcohol or hand sanitizer. It contains hormones, antibodies, enzymes, trace elements, urea and it is anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal etc. When re-ingested these provide an exact blueprint of what is going on in the body (or what is going wrong), to help stimulate healing which is specific and unique to the person. So with
Psoriasis urine can be extremely helpful internally, and i have found this personally as it slowly encourages the body to eliminate toxins and heal.
Urine is often considered as a waste product, but it is just filtered blood. The kidneys filter the blood and when there is an excess of any nutrient at any time, e.g salt, the body excretes it in the urine. So it is not excreting harmful substances, its just keeping a careful balance to regulate your body.
It is true that urine therapy may not have astounding results with everyone, as I have a friend with terrible
Psoriasis that improved by only 10-15%, but he does still drink alcohol, and has not changed his diet to a healthy one so i'm sure this has contributed to its lack of success. Another family member, however, has found tremendous improvement in her endometriosis through the therapy so I am a firm believer.
There is actually a great deal of scientific research on the benefits of urine therapy. If you look at 'Your own perfect medicine' by Martha Christy, 'The water of life' by J.W Armstrong or just type 'urine therapy' into google and there is a vast array of information to be found about it.
Best wishes,
Nikki.
