It is not a good idea to flush while menstruating. It can lead to heavier flow, more blood loss, and the body is already working very hard during menstruation, and letting go of toxins from the uterus. So flooding the body with toxins from the liver is not a great idea.
When you have problems with sleeping chances are your adrenals are messed up. That means you need a pot of Bieler Broth (see Broths post in the FAQ) and you need to start sungazing. Get up at 7:30-8:00 am every morning whether you had a good night's sleep or not,a nd gaze for 10 minutes at the dawn. Then go to bed at 10:30 and stay there whether you sleep or not. This helps reset the circadian rhythm. It helps to get good protein - the protein shake with extra eggs will give you what your body needs to make melatonin.
