I printed out that article last night and read the first couple of pages (haven't read it all yet -- long!). I'm a little freaked out because as a vegetarian for 12 years, vegan for the last 8 of those, I've eaten a lot of soy! (although not really the soy protein isolate or protein powder)
He states in the chapter that soybeans aren't a natural food for humans (and I can understand that all the overprocessed stuff is certainly unnatural) but what about edamame? The Japanese have been eating edamame for years and are typically thought of as a long-living, healthy people? (until we introduced fast food to them of course...) Just wondering what you think.
