Re: Help! I don't know what to eat for breakfast.
Here are some ideas. Some of them may sound a little odd, but if you are restricted as I am with my health issues, they start to sound good!
Are you allowing yourself the non-gluten grains, like quinoa, or buckwheat? If so, try making various pancakes with these grains (it is easier to make flat pancakes successfully than a it is to make a big loaf in the oven) Since we can't have any syrup, sprinkle the pancakes with cinnimin, or other spice.
A fruit that is an exception is cranberries - but must be without any added sugar. Good luck finding (hard to find), but it is easier to find cranberry juice without added
Sugar - look in health food stores and read labels carefully. Once you have some of this very sour cranberry juice, put some in with water in a glass and sip it along with your breakfast pancakes, and you'll feel a little like you got some fruit.
Hot vegetable soup can be good in the mornings.
Raw nuts (or roasted nuts if you're a person who believes candida people shouldn't eat them raw), eaten with (drum roll please) sun dried tomatoes. Look for sun dried tomatoes in gourmet or health food stores. Sound's wierd, but they make a nice chewy snack when partnered with nuts.
Or, partner nuts with some kind of raw vegetable, like carrots. Very filling when eaten along with nuts.
