causal link between candida & alcoholism?

Hi, you might want to read the post for the above link. I'm very certain I have candida, and I'm an alcoholic, too, and can relate to a lot of what you've said in your post. The "alternative alcohol addiction support" forum might have a few leads for you, like kudzu, bee pollen, in addition to getting your candida under control. Liverflushing might also be of use to you.

For immediate relief of the alcoholism, you might start taking daily doses of kudzu extract. It's hard to find in stores, but easy to order online. I found that it has helped me greatly in staying sober. It's not perfect, but for me it's been far more effective than AA. ((This is just speculation, but it might be that kudzu is effective because it has anti-candida properties.))

You will probably find that the people at AA might not be so receptive to the idea that alcoholism is something caused by candida, and that by suppressing the candida overgrowth in your system, you will be able to suppress those cravings for booze. Unfortunately, the idea doensn't follow the AA mantra.
