It really depends on your body type. If you have a relatively healthy metabolism you should be able to reach your ideal weight on this diet. Although in general, unless you have a high metablism, eating a lot of food, even if its raw, is not healthy and probably wont lead to weight loss. But, most likely if your coming from the SAD you'll lose weight just by cutting out all the junk and eating whole organic foods from nature. However, if you were someone like me and you've eaten a pretty healthy Diet most of your life but still have health problems and excess weight you probably won't experience significant results or much weight loss without going all the way(100% raw). It all depends on how toxic you are and how quickly your body responds. How much do you want to lose? What kind of diet have you been eating? These are all really important questions if you want to determine if this diet will work for you. I say try it and see what happens. It certainly wont hurt you.
