Sans Sucre, you sound very reasonable in responding to ertarox, but it is unlikely you will make any headway as that person seems too obstinate in his/her beliefs. I worked with a vegan and he was very pushy in his beliefs and would not ever concede that anyone could have a point for their side. He even tried to make his cat a vegan, but that didn't go over well.
