Hey, I have an opinion- are you ingesting a lot of carrots or carrot juice? That can easily turn your tongue/tissues orange. If you're orange, you might want to cut down a bit. It won't hurt you at all, but it's wierd being orange.
And, you may feel icky because you are eating differently- sometimes the body craves the foods it is used to, and gets 'grumpy' when it doesn't get them. If you feel like it, push on, but if you don't, add some of your normal foods back in your diet. Listen to your body. If it feels right for you later to remove those foods slowly, try it and see how it feels- give it time to sink in.
