I read your email with great interest Nicole - I too have suffered from Candida for at least 16yrs and have tried just about everything including, like you, Threelac. It too didn't have much of an effect on my condition and I couldn't afford to keep trying. However it has been fantastic for loads of people worldwide so I always think it's worth a try.

I admire you for having the strength to live on a fruit diet-I'm afraid I just couldn't maintain that. It's just too boring to contemplate.

Anyway like you I have come to the conclusion that I'm off the richter scale in terms of acidity and have come across a water 'filter' in the home which produces alkaline water. It's featured in the Tao of Detox book by Danial Reid. Excellent book about the best and most comprehensive I've ever read.
The water system is sold by a company called Ionlife and is relatively cheap in terms of what it will do for your body. We are really short of money but we are going to purchase one as an investment in our health. There is a book called Reverse Aging (mentioned on Ionlife's site) which is all about over acidity and premature aging.

Have a look at the testimonials of people who've purchased one of these filters-they are very compelling.
