Re: Thank you, have you ever ordered the weekly menu?

Hi,

Yes, I have ordered the weekly menu.

There were things I liked and things I didn't like. My sister has ordered it before and said the same thing. For example, I was not overly fond of the unmeatloaf or the falaffels, but I love the lasagne and spring rolls and burritos. My sister didn't like the burgers, but I have never tried those. I loved the peppermint meltaways, even though I never really liked coconut or mint (now I make them for myself!). I thought the carob mousse pie was too rich for me, but I ate it anyway, over a few days. I really like their raw hummus, which I have not figured out how to make correctly myself. They have a different menu every week; right now they have a blueberry pie (I wish I were in the US so I could try it!); my husband really liked his coconut cream pie (my husband does not usually eat anything healthy) but I wasn't overly fond of it because I am not a big coconut fan.

I would advise that if there is more than one item in the weekly menu that does not appeal to you, then just to order "a-la-cart", because the price difference won't be worth it.

When I first started buying that stuff, I thought it was so expensive. Then I started making it myself; with all the time and ingredients involved (and the fact that sometimes mine tasted gross and I had to trash it), I realized that his prices for most things were very fair.

Also, I liked to try the different things and then try to make them myself. Right now he has raw garlic bread on there and he lists the ingredients. I have all that stuff in my house, so I might try to make some this week.

Enjoy:-)
Tina.
