Re: Magnesium defiency could be the CULPRIT of SYMPTOMS not candida

Hi Michelle,

That's how I feel too about helping people avoid what I went through, though I've still got some last "cleaning" to do. I also get mild to moderate seasonal flare ups, depending on rainy weather, mold count and musty rooms. I've had this off and on for many years because it is very hard to keep your blood Sugar right in the normal range. If you let it get too high, even if you're not eating anything with simple sugars and staying off the high glycemic foods, then of course you're feeding the candida. Normal blood Sugar levels are from 85-110 mg/dL. If it dips down to 70, which is easy to do when diabetic, then you run the risk of brain fog, poor cognitive skills, shakiness, loss of consciousness, etc. Vegetables and protein will not bring blood Sugar level back up quick enough to avoid passing out. So this is very dangerous to have candida and diabetes at the same time. You have to eat something sweet right away, which of course feeds candida. So for me it can be a vicious cycle sometimes from low and high blood sugar, only because of wacky sugar metabolism. On top of that candididiasis can CAUSE wacky sugar metabolism; hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia. It can be a real back and forth battle for me.

Since a Mg deficiency can produce many neurological ailments, I'm curious if it has helped eased your anxiety/panic?

Nancy
