1. Try doing a colonic. When you drink a lot of fluids and do not have solid food, there is not as much for your digestive system and bowels to grab ahold of and push out. This can cause build-up in your intestines. You can get a home
colonic system or go have it done.
colonics also get those bowel muscles moving. If you plan to juice long term without solid food, a home
colonic system might be just what you need.
2. Eat something solid. Constant
juicing makes your bowels weak because they don't have to use their muscles like before.
3. Fiber is also something you want to consider getting more of...Try whole grains, berries or legumes. You need them to stimulate intestinal rythmic movement, called peristalsis. Drinking only liquid does not promote this. It is something that helps digestion. As a last resort, buy some psyllium husk powder, mix it with water and drink it once every morning to promote digestion and a good solid bowel movement once a day. It expands and solidifies as thick as feces and goes through the digestive system pushing everything out.
4. Don't over-eat. Over-eating backs up the digestive system and forces it to work harder. This is especially bad if you're already bloated.
