Re: Question for Sans Sucre or Zule
That is a tough one, ain't it!! I think it is everyone's dilemma. What I am doing now that seems very much to be working is to take it in baby steps. Keeping toxicity down is most important to my healing and all else is secondary. For me this means HUGE amonts of Chlorella to bind the toxins up and
colonics about every 2 weeks to get the resulting gunk out, and mini enemas a few times a week in between. I am killing through the back door - meaning indirectly. I take nothing that is specifically designed to kill stuff. I take things that are designed to keep the liver working as best it can under these stressful circumstances, and I just added Cell Food which oxygenates the blood and body, and thus kills candida indirectly by producing an environment it cannot live in (an oxygenated one). I truly think this is the answer - to get healthy so your body cannot support candida. As I do this, I am healing exponentially. In other words, the better I get, the better I am able to do more to heal, and the ball is now rolling in the correct direction. At one point I did have to stop taking everything, including vitamins, to clear mysefl out and give the liver a break. Doing that helped. Soon I tried adding in my food-based multi, my probiotic (altho I never should have stopped taking this, in hindsight), my cal/mag, my C. I never stopped my digestive enzymes and liver support would have been good at this time too, if I had been aware of it. If I were maping my ideal program today I would take:
C
B-complex
Food based multi
Cal/mag
zinc
digestive enzymes
Chlorella (LOTS!)
LiverAid or Livatone Plus
Probiotics
Cell Food
Lots of lemon
As per diet, I am of the traditonal persuasion. No
Sugar or grains except maybe slow cooked oatmeal. No fermented foods (controversial, I know), limited dairy (organic best), fairly high protein (some protein every meal), lots of fresh veggies and salads, as much as you can afford it eat organic, lots of water and mineral water, and yes to fruit (I know - this is also controversial, and some react to fruits. I was limited to 1 piece a day for the first 6 months, but I ate any kind I wanted. NO CAFFEINE, no chocolate, as that really messes with the liver function.
