Hempseed oil is about $1 an ounce

Hemp seed and hempseed oil is really expensive. Hempola is a famous hemp retailer in Canada- http://www.hempola.com/ Global Hemp is a website that is very informative on all things hemp- http://www.globalhemp.com/

Here is another article on hempseed and its oil- http://www.naturalhealthweb.com/articles/roulac1.html

The closest place to me that sells hempoil is 20 miles away. Where flaxseed oil is found everywhere including Wal-Mart, hempseed and oil, might not be in stock at your local health food store. It is out there and it will continue to spread now that the DEA "final ruling" on hempfood has been rejected by the courts. If the price would come down, it would make it into widespread use in things like salad dressings and mayonaise.

This is the website I wonder about most because of its low prices- http://www.bestdeal.org/Merchant2/merchant.mvc? The following list their hempoil prices.

HEMP-8 Hemp seed oil, ultra natural, 8 oz. $5.40

HEMP-16 Hemp seed oil, ultra natural, 16 oz. $9.18

HEMP-32 Hemp seed oil, ultra natural, 32 oz. $16.22

HEMP-64 Hemp seed oil, ultra natural, 64 oz. $31.36

HEMP-G Hemp seed oil, ultra natural (Gal.) $54.07
